A steel tub was filled
with golden cooking oil. In the middle of the tub lay a couple of lightning
neon tubes.
Now the tub was filled with black crude oil till the level covered the lights.
The lamps are still on but only the artist knows.
The performance/installation took place in the temporary gallery 'Licht' in
winter 2002, Frankfurt am Main.
'The Light' exhibition space was initiated by Anke & Heike Schleper, together
with Bernhard Schreiner.
Jörg Niehage and Christian Schröder followed their invitation.
